Job Description
Preparation of the economic and technical proposal and execution of the work for the general maintenance of accessories and components of the 115 kv substation at the maritime and port operation terminal of Tuxpan, Veracruz.
The Tuxpan maritime and port operation terminal of Pemex refining is a strategic work center as a receipt and shipping center to satisfy the demand for distilled hydrocarbons; Its primary objective is to supply products: Pemex Magna, Pemex Premium, Pemex Diesel, MTBE, octane base and premium component, its area of influence such as the Valley of Mexico, the Tula Refinery, the State of Hidalgo and the northern area of Veracruz.
Electrical distribution capacity:
The 115 kv substation was built in the mid-nineties and put into operation in March 1999. Within the maritime and port operation terminal Tuxpan, Veracruz. There are seven electrical substations in operation and a control room. The main 115 kV electrical substation has two transformers of 6250 kVA each, and this in turn feeds 6 auxiliary substations such as: auxiliary electrical substation (SEA-1) of 300 kVA, auxiliary electrical substation (SEA-2) of 150 kVA, auxiliary electrical substation (SEA-3) of 500 kVA, electrical substation (SEA-4) of 500 kVA, auxiliary electrical substation (SEA-5) of 150 kVA and the auxiliary electrical substation (SEA-6) of 750 kVA.
The 115 kV electrical substation is the most important in this terminal, because, if it fails, all loading, unloading and distribution operations through the different pipelines are affected, so its maintenance is essential to avoid unforeseen events due to poor condition of the equipment and lack of maintenance on the (TP) power transformer and (TC) current transformer.
Scope of work
General maintenance on accessories and components of the 115 kV substation, which are in critical condition due to the weather in the coastal area and prevent a collapse or explosion in the substation which causes damage to people, the environment, facilities and a stoppage in fuel pumping.
• Change of hardware due to deterioration.
• Maintenance of the lightning rod system.
• Change due to potential transformers damage.
• Change due to current transformers damage.
